These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gathering app (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

The Service helps people discover and join real-world events to meet others for social, non-sexual purposes. The Service is an agenda and coordination tool only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your conduct during events.
• You must comply with applicable laws and not use the Service to promote or engage in illegal activities.
• Harassment, hate, abuse, sexual exploitation, and spam are prohibited.

4. Events, Safety, and Disclaimers

Events are created by users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event details or the identity or behavior of other attendees. You are solely responsible for assessing your safety and making decisions about participating in an event.

5. Content and Moderation

Users may upload photos and other content where allowed. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our policies. We may notify you when moderation action is taken on your content.

6. Private Events

Private events are accessible only through invitation links. Sharing an invitation link is at your own discretion.

7. Account Actions

We may suspend or ban accounts for suspicious activity, repeated violations, or harmful behavior. We may cooperate with law enforcement where required.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service or participation in events.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
